Barista, Assistant Coffee Roaster and Delivery Driver …, Underwood

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team in a versatile role combining coffee roasting, delivery, and barista duties. This position requires a dynamic person who is willing to learn, grow, and take on a variety of tasks related to coffee production, customer service, and delivery logistics.

**1 Barista**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages (espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, etc.) while maintaining high quality and consistency.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Operate coffee-making equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the coffee bar, seating areas, and kitchen.
- Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed.
- Ensure all food and beverage products meet the company’s standards for quality and presentation.
- Assist in training new baristas, providing support, and sharing best practices.
- Handle cash register and POS system transactions accurately.

**2. Assistant Coffee Roaster**:

- Assist the lead roaster in roasting coffee beans to specific profiles and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain roasting equipment, ensuring proper calibration and function.
- Monitor roasting processes, adjusting times, temperatures, and airflow to achieve optimal roast results.
- Inspect roasted beans for quality, ensuring they meet the desired flavour profile.
- Organize and store roasted coffee beans in proper conditions to maintain freshness.
- Assist with inventory management of green beans, ensuring accurate stock levels.
- Maintain a clean and safe roasting area, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
- Participate in testing and cupping of coffee to assess quality and consistency.

**3. Delivery Driver**:

- Safely deliver coffee beans, equipment, and other products to customers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Follow delivery routes and schedules, ensuring products arrive in valuable condition.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and answering any questions they may have.
- Handle cash transactions and process deliveries, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
- Inspect vehicles regularly for maintenance and report any issues to the manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles.
