Description
About Hey Jack At Hey Jack, we’re more than a team of creatives and event planners. We’re one of Victoria’s leading wedding suppliers, a creative house specialising in entertainment, videography, and photography. Over the past 7 years, we’ve built a trusted reputation working alongside some of the state’s top venues and planners, delivering around 1,800 weddings each year. What sets us apart is how we bring everything together. We don’t just provide individual services, we guide, align, and manage every moving part so the day flows effortlessly. From the first enquiry through to final delivery, every touchpoint is intentional, considered, and built around creating a smooth, enjoyable experience. A huge part of that is our focus on technology and customer experience. Our planning portal, streamlined workflows, and in-house editing teams allow us to offer a level of organisation, communication, and consistency that’s hard to match. Couples have full visibility and control while still feeling fully supported every step of the way. It’s this combination of creativity, structure, and experience that allows us to deliver weddings that not only look incredible, but feel effortless from start to finish. About The Role As our Photography Studio Manager, you’ll play a key role in the behind-the-scenes delivery of our wedding photography experience. This is a fast-paced, detail-driven role supporting the production, editing, organisation, and delivery of a large volume of weddings each year. You’ll work closely with our photography, planning, and marketing teams to ensure every gallery is delivered to the highest standard and on schedule. Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Editing and managing large volumes of wedding galleries
- Creating premium wedding album layouts
- Managing photography production timelines and delivery schedules
- Backing up and organising photography files
- Uploading galleries to online delivery platforms
- Assisting with content preparation for social media and marketing campaigns
- Rostering and assigning photographers to weddings and shoots
- Supporting workflow improvements and studio organisation
- Assisting the team with day-to-day administrative and production tasks This is a hands-on role with a lot of ownership and variety. One moment you may be editing a gallery, the next coordinating photographers for a busy weekend or preparing content for an upcoming campaign. About You You’re highly organised, proactive, and thrive in a fast-moving creative environment. You love systems, structure, and bringing order to busy workflows, while still having a solid creative eye and exceptional attention to detail. You may already have experience working within photography, weddings, content production, or creative studios, and understand the importance of consistency, deadlines, and client experience. You're Someone Who:
- Has experience with Lightroom and photo workflows (core requirement)
- Has strong organisational and time management skills
- Is confident managing multiple projects at once
- Has a sharp eye for detail and presentation
- Enjoys both creative and operational tasks
- Is comfortable learning new software and workflows
