Trainee, Retail Lending (Southern Downs Regional)

This role is responsible for servicing the clients who come to the branch counter. The incumbent will build a thorough understanding of each client’s financial requirements and will focus on providing best services to retain and build deeper relationships with clients. Main Duties
- Assist in developing and generating sales opportunities with both new and existing clients to drive business growth and expand the bank’s product and service reach;
- Assist in promoting and selling a full range of banking products to maximize client value, meet their needs, and align with their financial capacity;
- Provide positive service and assist in resolving customer complaints to build long-term trust;
- Assist in conducting loan underwriting & credit analysis by collecting customer information and financial assessments;
- Assist in preparing loan proposals and contracts/disbursement;
- Assist in monitoring overdue loans and following up in a timely manner;
- Compliance & Risk: Ensure adherence to bank policies and regulatory standards. Skills / Experiences
- Junior or senior student
- Proficiency in English
