**Job Title**: Disability Support Worker
- Behaviour Support (Immediate Start) **Location**: Stanthorpe, Queensland **Employment Type**: Casual **Start Date**: Immediate

**About the Role**: We are seeking passionate and experienced **Disability Support Workers** in **Stanthorpe** to support clients with **complex behaviours**. This role involves providing direct, person-centred support in line with individual behaviour support plans, promoting independence, and ensuring safety and dignity in all care provided.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support participants with daily living tasks, community engagement, and personal care
- Implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies as per Behaviour Support Plans (BSP)
- Accurately record shift notes and report any incidents or changes in behaviour
- Engage participants in planned indoor and outdoor activities
- Maintain skilled boundaries while building trusting relationships
- Work collaboratively with team members, families, and allied health professionals
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to NDIS Code of Conduct

**Essential Requirements**:

- Minimum 6 months experience working with clients with behavioural needs
- Completion of **BSP Training** or willingness to complete before starting
- **NDIS Worker Screening Check**:

- **Working with Children Check (WWCC)**
- NSW
- Valid **First Aid and CPR Certificate**:

- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (if required by client)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel within Stanthorpe region
