- Prepare a wide range of authentic Indian dishes, including tandoori items, curries, biryanis, and breads such as naan and roti.
- Follow traditional recipes to ensure consistent quality and authentic flavors.
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen at all times.
- Manage food inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver excellent food service during peak hours.
- Adapt dishes to customer preferences while maintaining authenticity.
- Assist with menu development and daily specials.
- Ensure kitchen equipment is clean and well-maintained. Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cook in an Indian restaurant or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and regional cuisine.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Commitment to food safety and cleanliness.
- Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude. What we offer:
