About The Role
We currently have an opportunity available for an experienced Site Manager based at our Ingleburn site. The role is full time and permanent, working within a close‑knit team setting and reporting to the National Production Manager.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee the safe, compliant, and productive operation of the site meeting industry standards and regulations.
Manage all operational aspects including health & safety, environmental policies, Major Hazard Facility (MHF) compliance, production management, maintenance, and financial performance.
Lead and inspire site leadership team while effectively collaborating with key stakeholders.
Ensure consistent product availability that meets the demands of both internal and external customers.
Drive operational excellence by implementing productivity initiatives to boost output, reduce costs, and increase capacity.
Manage budgets and financial performance, optimising costs and ensuring the site achieves its P&L; targets.
Oversee all site maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, compliance and optimal performance.
Key Skills and Experience
Degree in chemical or mechanical engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in managerial roles within large operational and manufacturing environments or in similar roles.
Experience in budget control, cost management, and optimising P&L.; Excellent communication skills.
A strong drive to achieve goals, with the ability to persuade and influence others effectively.
Ability to take strong action in response to business performance issues.
