About the Role In this Monday to Friday role (8:30am–5:00pm) you will deliver recovery‑oriented and strengths‑based interventions to individuals aged 18–65 with severe and persistent mental illness. You will collaborate on care planning, provide psychosocial support and engage in community activities to support clients’ holistic recovery. Responsibilities
- Assess and treat clients in line with the NSW Mental Health Act 2007 and professional standards.
- Document clinical activities promptly using eMR and participate in quality improvement activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community partners to coordinate person‑centred care.
- Contribute to the Macarthur Adult Care Coordination Team’s objectives.
- Engage in supervision and ongoing professional development. Qualifications and Experience You are a mental health professional registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), or a CSU graduate with a Bachelor of Health Science (Mental Health). You possess solid knowledge of psychiatric medications and demonstrate ethical practice in line with SWSLHD policies. Selection Criteria
- Relevant registration as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, Social Worker, or eligible AASW social worker.
- Experience providing assessment and treatment for consumers of mental health services.
- Demonstrated teamwork and problem‑solving skills with communication methods that prevented recurrence.
- Australian C‑class driver’s licence (P1 or P2). Non‑NSW holders must obtain an NSW licence within three months of appointment. Benefits
