Description
Senior Project Manager – Service Projects Acusensus pioneers intelligent road safety enforcement solutions that are changing how governments address dangerous driver behaviour on roads across the globe. Our advanced AI and hardware technology — deployed as fixed-location, trailer-based, and vehicle-based enforcement solutions — is already operating across Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and New Zealand. Our mission is easy: changing behaviours, saving lives. Since 2018, we've grown from an Australian start-up into a world-leading technology company, and we're still accelerating. We're a team that genuinely cares — about each other, about our customers, and about the communities we serve. The Opportunity We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with a focus on Service Projects to lead and coordinate projects related to the delivery, maintenance, and enhancement of our road safety enforcement solutions. This role will involve managing projects to ensure timely, budget-conscious, and quality delivery while optimising service operations and stakeholder communication. You'll be the driving force behind how new enforcement programs are stood up and handed over to operations — owning the full project lifecycle from tender and design through to BAU transition, across deployments that are significant in scale and business impact. What You'll Do
- Lead and manage service-related and transition-in related projects including leading the end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects from tender through implementation and BAU handover
- Coordinate between internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies specific to service projects.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and client requirements.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to facilitate communication and collaboration.
- Provide regular project status reports and updates to senior leadership and clients.
- Champion continuous improvement — analysing KPIs and customer feedback to keep delivery processes sharp
- Manage stakeholder relationships across internal teams, government clients, and third-party vendors
- Embed governance and quality practices aligned to ISO 9001, 45001, 27001, and 14001 standards What You'll Bring You're an experienced project manager who thrives on complexity, earns trust quickly with clients and colleagues alike, and takes genuine ownership of outcomes from first kick-off to final handover.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, IT, or related field is required.
- Project management certification (PMP, Prince2, Agile) is highly desirable.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience, particularly with service or operational projects.
- Background in government technology programs or infrastructure transition projects is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to lead service delivery projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage client relationships
- you can write a crisp project report and navigate a difficult client conversation with equal confidence.
- Strong knowledge of service operations, maintenance processes, and technology deployment is advantageous.
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills with proven risk and issue management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, or similar platforms.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments and adapt to changing priorities.
- A methodical, detail-oriented approach with the flexibility to reprioritise when things shift.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction. Additional Requirements
- Full working rights in Australia.
- Willingness to travel domestically as required.
- Successful completion of background and security checks. Why Join Us?
- Work that saves lives
- You'll be delivering technology that catches dangerous driver behaviour on roads across Australia and beyond — projects with a direct, measurable impact on reducing road fatalities.
- High-stakes projects with real complexity
- You'll own the end-to-end lifecycle of significant technology deployments — from tender through transition to BAU — working across internal engineering, operations, and government clients at scale.
- A global company with a genuine growth story
- Founded in 2018, Acusensus has expanded to Australia, the US, the UK, and New Zealand. You're joining at a point where the playbook is being built, and your frameworks will shape how the business scales. #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjobau.com/job/3rrcgk
