The Opportunity We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing team and lead the delivery of diverse civil construction projects across NSW. You’ll oversee project delivery, manage client relationships, and guide site teams to achieve safe, high-quality, and efficient outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee project planning, progress, and delivery in collaboration with Construction and Site Managers.
- Manage procurement, subcontractors, and compliance with statutory and safety requirements.
- Develop and maintain project programs, budgets, and timelines to ensure profitability.
- Lead client communication, manage expectations, and deliver positive project outcomes.
- Identify risks, manage contracts and variations, and resolve disputes effectively.
- Support tender submissions and build strong client and industry relationships.
- Champion safety, quality, and environmental standards across all projects.
- Lead, coach, and motivate Site Teams to achieve project objectives and foster continuous improvement. About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in project management within the civil construction industry
- Solid commercial, contractual, and financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting
- Demonstrated leadership capability with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Current White Card and Driver Licence
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project/CRM systems
- A proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to show initiative and take ownership Why Join WEM?
