Elc Diploma Qualified Lead Educator (Strathalbyn)

**THE ROLE**

The YMCA of South Australia is a seeking passionate Lead Educator to join our Early Learning Centre in Strathalbyn.

As a valued member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping young minds and positively impacting the lives of children and their families. Working under the guidance of the ELC Director, your responsibilities will include assisting families with sensitivity and professionalism, assisting with positive behaviour management procedures, and promoting the inclusion of children with additional needs.

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Must hold or be working toward a Diploma of Early Childhood Education
- (HLTAID009) Provide CPR
- (HLTAID012) Provide Emergency First Aid in an Education and Care Setting
- Certificate of completion for “Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect” (RRHAN) training
- (Desirable) Experience interacting with groups of children from 0-6 years
- Awareness of accountability, Legal liability, and duty of care to children
