Hello! I’m Dr. Mostafa Mahdavi, a mechanical engineering specialist with a PhD in Thermofluids and over a
decade of experience in academia and research. I’ve worked as a Senior Lecturer and Lecturer Assistant for
more than 10 years, mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students in mechanical engineering disciplines
across multiple universities. My approach is practical, student-focused, and built on simplifying complex topics
into clear, understandable concepts.
I specialize in teaching Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, and CFD—from fundamentals to
advanced applications. Whether you're preparing for an exam, tackling a complex project, or learning industry
tools like ANSYS Fluent and SolidWorks, I can help you succeed.

Rates
A introduction-session of 20 minutes at the beginning can be offered free of charge to get to know each other
before making any session appointment, if requested.

$60/hr – tutoring (online or in-person in Brisbane)
$80/hr – Advanced Level of modelling and research (Thesis and dissertation)
