About The Role The Early Years Curriculum and Learning directorate leads the development, implementation and continuous improvement of early years curriculum and pedagogical guidance aligned to the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standard and the Department’s Strategy for Public Education. It works collaboratively to co‑design curriculum supports, tools and initiatives, informed by stakeholder feedback, and monitors and reports on progress to drive system improvement. The Preschool Curriculum and Learning Partner contributes to this work by providing statewide expertise in evidence‑informed pedagogy, assessment and curriculum, with a focus on preschool education. The role supports a connected and strategic approach to curriculum implementation, strengthening practice and improving learning outcomes for children aged 3–5 years. Qualifications Essential: A tertiary qualification in education and/or related fields. Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood education. Special conditions The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN‑EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect
- Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years. For all other Special Conditions please refer to the attached Position Description. Remuneration STL3 $152,287 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%).
