My client, a leading importer and distributor of iconic toys and hobby brands has a full time opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Officer based in the inner southern suburbs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills with the ability to provide top level customer service and manage enquiries over the phone, socials and email. If you have worked within a customer service or retail setting with great IT skills, this will be highly regarded. Responsibilities
- Providing excellent customer service over the phone with direct enquiries, which can be clients ordering from their website or retail stores checking on their stock delivery.
- Recording details of the calls as needed and ensuring the enquiry has been followed up.
- Updating customer orders in the system and checking freight times.
- Updating the spreadsheet as required.
- Backing up the data entry team if they need any extra support.
- Administrative tasks as required by management.
- Updating the digital planning platform (Asana) as needed.
- Transferring calls and escalating enquiries to the relevant departments as needed.
- Ensuring the emails and social media pages are checked and the direct messages and enquiries are responded to in a timely manner. Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills over the phone and responding to emails and messages.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to be flexible and adaptable to assist the data entry teams if needed.
- The ability to multitask for efficiency.
- Good problem solving skills.The ability to prioritise tasks as needed with a strong sense of initiative.
- Positive experience with Social Media to navigate through comments and direct messages from clients.
- Great IT skills with the ability to learn and pick up new systems.
- Strong attention to detail and experience using Excel.
- Experience working within an import/ distribution or retail company will be highly regarded but not essential.
