The Venue: The Subiaco hotel relaxed, casual and modern whilst paying tribute to its past and once again finds itself as one of the most unique country pubs in Australia. Casual front-bar, family restaurant serving modern pub-grub, function rooms. The Position: The Subiaco hotel is seeking an experienced cook or chef to assist the head chef in the kitchen. The applicant must have at least 1 year experience in a similar position. Cert III in Commercial Cookery (preferred) A pro-active, positive and energetic attitude Passion for preparing and cooking high quality foods Ability to work in high volume restaurant The role includes but is not limited to: Maintaining superior product standards Reducing food wastage Ensuring kitchen cleanliness Adhering to food hygiene standards Daily kitchen operations and preparation We believe in the importance of work life balance and value the need for a positive company culture to support this.
