Dental Receptionist/Sterilisation Assistant (Wembley)

Our specialist practice is focused on creating a positive and supportive environment for both our staff and our patients. For this role reception experience is essential and training will be provided for the sterilisation assistant. The receptionist/sterilisation assistant has become available due to an internal promotion.

You must be organised and meticulous by nature. Above all, you need to display care and pride in what you do. Who are we? We are a specialist periodontal practice lead by Dr Derrick Lee and supported by his team of periodontal hygienists and clinical staff based in Wembley and Kalamunda. We are passionate about delivering exceptional periodontal and implantology treatment in addition to providing caring patient support for our patients to be able to assist them to eat, speak and smile. The duties will include:
- Opening and closing the practice
- Direct interaction with patients—providing a warm welcome, managing appointments, answering calls
- Handle administrative duties, patient records management and billing
- Chair side dental assisting (occasionally)
- Cleaning and sterilisation duties along with highest levels of cross infection control Ideal Candidate:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven experience in reception duties and keeping schedules is essential
- A commitment to reliability and a professional work ethic
- Desire to be part of a team long-term (more than 12 months).

- Strong time management and organisational skills The dental receptionist/sterilisation assistant role is 3 days a week The hours are 830 to 530pm. You will need your own transport to travel between Wembley and Kalamunda (once a month). Start date is ASAP. What we offer:
