Accountant – CA/CPA | Wembley Office

Roster: Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm Location: Wembley WA Employment Type: Permanent We are seeking an Accountant to join our head office team in Wembley. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role within a collaborative finance team, working alongside accounts payable, payroll, and credit functions. This position also offers regular interaction with senior leadership, including Directors, providing valuable exposure across the wider business. It is well suited to a CA/CPA qualified candidate or someone currently working towards completion. About the Role
- Support daily cash flow tracking and reporting activities
- Complete bank and credit card reconciliations using Xero
- Oversee weekly payroll and accounts payable outputs
- Assist with month-end processes, including journal preparation
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Contribute to management reporting and financial insights
- Prepare reports across business units (e.g. utilisation, project margins)
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Undertake ad hoc financial analysis and tasks as required
- Work with operational teams to improve financial performance
- Provide support across payroll, AR and AP when needed Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
- CA/CPA qualified or currently undertaking
- Experience with Xero or similar accounting systems
- Strong Excel capability and overall MS Office proficiency
- High attention to detail with solid analytical skills
- Team-oriented with a proactive and adaptable approach
- Interest in using systems/technology to improve efficiency What We Offer
