Description
An integral part of our local community since 1978
We are here not only to treat, but also to guide and support pet parents so they can give
pets long, happy, and healthy lives. Whether it’s offering trusted advice on everyday
care, creating personalised treatment plans, or simply being there when you need
reassurance, our team is dedicated to building lasting relationships our patients.
Being so strongly integrated with our local community is key to us, we provide
gold standard client and patient care that ensures our patients and pet parents have the
best possible experience. We have a wonderful, dedicated client base who know they
can rely on us for sound advice and treatment options.
We also look after ourselves and our staff, from rostering that lets you do what you love
outside of work to regular catch-ups to celebrate wins, share learnings and to solve
problems together. It doesn’t matter what role you are in, if you have an idea we want to
know about it.
All of this starts from the first time an owner calls, through to following up after
treatment
- and this is where you come in.
How you can help us
A lot of the time when someone calls a vet it’s because their pet is in distress, sick or
has injured themselves. It is in high-stress and emotional moments like these where a
reassuring voice on the other end of the line gives everyone sense of calm, and allows
them to know that help is there.
Being able to work with people in distress, get the required information and make the
process seem like it happens every day (because it can) is what we are looking for in the
done. It doesn’t just help the pets and pet-parents, it helps the entire team.
What your background looks like
You will have experience working in a clinical workplace (human health or
animal health)
Excellent organisational skills (bonus points if you can help organise others)
The kind of attitude where if something needs to be done, you just get it done and
not walk past it
It goes without saying, but you really do need to like animals
Sound like you?
If you are sitting there thinking this is for you, shoot your CV through to us via the APPLY
I know how busy life can be and how difficult it is to write a cover letter, so if you don’t
have the time, no stress, your CV will be enough for us. Apply on Kit Job: kitjobau.com/job/3r4fuu
