We are a well-established boutique law firm based on Brisbane’s south side. We are currently seeking a full-time Office Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideally suited to a highly organised and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in accuracy, has a positive and easy-going attitude, and is willing to assist with a wide range of tasks in a busy office environment. Strong attention to detail is essential, as the role involves handling client documentation, file management, and administrative processes requiring a high level of accuracy and care. Previous legal experience is an advantage but not required. We welcome applicants from a broad range of backgrounds who are eager to learn and develop their skills in a skilled office environment. As many of our clients are from Chinese cultural backgrounds, applicants with Mandarin and/or Cantonese speaking ability will be highly regarded. Key Responsibilities
- Answering phone calls and relaying messages professionally and accurately
- Opening client files and preparing cost agreements and related documents
- Sending template correspondence and archiving closed files
- Issuing payment invoices and assisting with trust account administration
- Providing general ad-hoc administrative support to the legal team The Successful Applicant Will Demonstrate:
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Previous administrative experience in an office environment is an advantage
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office or DocuSgin What We Offer
