Position Details

School of Health | UniSC Sunshine Coast, UniSC Fraser Coast or UniSC Gympie – Level A, $83,148 – $112,588 p.a. plus up to 17% employer superannuation. Full‑time (36.25 hours per week), fixed term until December 2026.

Overview

The role is part of the Discipline of Nursing team, supporting students throughout their clinical learning journey across simulated, telehealth and placement environments. You will work closely with academic and clinical teams to deliver high-quality supervision, develop clinical education practices and strengthen partnerships with healthcare providers.

Responsibilities Support and enhance student learning during clinical placements through supervision, feedback and evidence‑informed teaching practices. Collaborate with nursing leadership to train and support clinical facilitators and contribute to continuous improvement of clinical education delivery. Build and maintain strong partnerships with healthcare providers to expand work‑integrated learning opportunities. Contribute to a positive academic workplace through engagement in School activities, career development and scholarship.

Qualifications and Experience Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a postgraduate qualification in nursing (or progress toward one). Demonstrated effectiveness in clinical teaching and student supervision across simulated, telehealth and/or clinical placement settings. Experience supporting student learning through feedback, assessment and creating safe, engaging clinical learning environments. Strong connections with healthcare providers and/or professional bodies, able to build and sustain partnerships.
