Reliever Medical Receptionist – Specialist Endocrinology Practice Sunshine Coast Diabetes and Endocrine Specialists – Buderim We are seeking an experiened skilled individual with previous medical receptionist experience and excellent patient communication skills to assist our specialist endocrinology practice in Buderim. This role would suit someone with previous experience in medical reception, ideally in a specialist practice, who is available for casual relief work during staff leave, sick leave, or busy periods. About the role Duties include: Managing patient phone calls and enquiries Booking and confirming appointments Processing referrals and patient correspondence Billing and receipting Liaising with GPs, hospitals, allied health providers and patients General front-desk administrative support About you We are looking for someone who is: Professional, warm and patient-focused Well organised and able to work independently Confident with computers and medical software Experienced in medical reception or specialist rooms Discreet and respectful of patient confidentiality Flexible and available for relief shifts when needed Experience with specialist medical rooms, Medicare billing, private billing, referrals, and electronic correspondence would be highly regarded. Location Buderim, Sunshine Coast Position type Casual / reliever role Hours will vary depending on practice needs and staff leave coverage.
