Project Lead/Senior Architect (Surry Hills)

Project Lead / Senior Architect Sydney, Australia Join Fuse Architects, a growing, design-focused architecture studio working across major mixed-use, residential, and social housing projects throughout Sydney and Brisbane. Fuse is an ambitious, multicultural practice that believes architecture should respond to climate, community, and the realities of how people live. As the studio continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Project Lead / Senior Architect to help deliver a number of significant projects currently progressing through design development and delivery following successful design competition outcomes. This role is suited to someone with strong construction documentation and project delivery experience who is looking to take ownership of major projects within a young and expanding studio environment. You will work closely with a highly experienced leadership team while being given genuine responsibility, autonomy, and a clear pathway for career growth.

About You
- 5+ years practical experience as a Project Lead / Senior Architect
- Strong construction documentation and technical delivery experience
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate complex Class 2 projects
- Strong understanding of consultant coordination and project management
- Organised with strong communication and team leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across complex projects
- Strong understanding of large-scale mixed-use and multi-residential projects
- ArchiCAD experience highly regarded but not essential
- Passion for design quality and project delivery

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects from design development through to construction documentation and delivery
- Coordinate consultant teams and manage project outcomes
- Deliver high-quality documentation packages aligned with project objectives
- Work collaboratively with design and technical teams across the studio
- Manage project scope, resources, and program delivery
- Mentor and support junior team members
- Take ownership of project delivery with support from senior leadership
