This key hire requires someone who will bring a mix of strategic thinking and leadership as well as hands on knowledge of formulation science and it offers terrific long-term career progression opportunity.

**The role requires**
- Hands-on leadership and capability to deliver NPD, product and process improvements, plus cost management across global and local projects
- Proven leadership capability. Robust stakeholder engagement skills are essential
- Strong formulation science/chemistry knowledge (sealants / fillers, paint / inks) in order to mentor the team
- Management of a team of 3 direct reports (4 in team)
- Collaboration with marketing to build strategically aligned NPD pipeline
- Commercial nous
- accountable for R&D; financial outcomes
- Risk mitigation and problem solving strength

**About You**
- Tertiary qualification in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering
- 3-5 years experience managing direct reports
- Sound working knowledge of innovation process, and regulations
- Impeccable communication and interpersonal skills
