The roles, responsibilities and duties of a Security Officer can be performed in many different sectors and varying roles. About the role

The position of the Security Officer is primarily responsible for providing a security presence whilst remaining alert and focused. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our customers, and you will build strong relationships with your internal stakeholders. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Conducting patrols of designated areas ensuring people are protected and buildings are secure- Escorting people around the site- Ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiali- Ensuring property is locked and unlocked as required- Directing and helping people to navigate around the site- Communicating calmly and clearly with key stakeholders- Complete detailed reports on incidents an issues encountered during patrols

Skills & experience- Certificate II in Security Operations- Valid NSW Security Licence- Full Drivers License- Customer centric approach- Willing to undergo Rail Safety training onsite- Be previously trained by or willing to undergo training by Law enforcement agencies- Full Australian working rights- Proven ability to remain alert while being focused on task- Flexibility and adaptability
