- Research, design, and development of a new generation of software-based industrial automation system using advanced technologies, including AI
- Work closely with the systems architecture, user experience design, and other functional teams to conceive and develop recent innovations
- Play a hands‑on role in delivery of new product introductions, working closely with the R&D; team and customers. Tasks include a range of activities across the full software development lifecycle.
- Actively participate in technical strategic planning
- Provide responsive customer support for software solutions developed Key Experience & Capabilities
- At least 5 years industry experience, with domain expertise in industrial sectors such as oil and gas, power, renewables, chemicals, pharma, or mining metals and minerals
- Experience in process control and advanced process control (APC), real-time optimization, performance monitoring, first principles modelling & distributed control systems
- Hands‑on experience in software design and development Professional Skills / Knowledge
- Programming languages: C/C++, C#, Python Highly Valued
- Programming languages: JSON, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
- SQL Server or similar database technologies
- Experience with Agile development, TDD, CI/CD, unit testing
- Experience with AI‑assisted software development
- Experience creating performant and scalable software designs
