Practice Officer – Federal Government Department – Veterans Mental Health $54.88 – $58.53 an hour + Super Government Department role, long term contract Full time position ACM Healthcare is working on behalf of a Federal Government Department to source an experienced Practice Officer to work within a Mental Health Practice working with Veterans. This 2‑year contract is at an APS4 level. Duties
- Support Level 3 Service Support Officers, including monitoring performance, setting priorities, task allocation, and identifying training needs.
- Provide front‑of‑house and administrative support, including data entry, record keeping, and coordination of client referrals.
- Act as the first point of escalation for enquiries from clients, providers, and stakeholders.
- Support the delivery of group programs and workshops through effective administration.
- Assist with onboarding and training of new staff and contracted providers.
- Undertake financial tasks such as processing invoices, reconciling payments, and tracking expenditure.
- Manage office operations including assets, IT, travel, and property resources.
- Contribute to reporting, compliance audits, and quality assurance activities. Mandatory Requirements
- Demonstrated experience within business operations, supporting service delivery within a health service and/or a government workplace, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Working with Children (WWC) and/or Vulnerable People checks/clearance obtained prior to commencement.
