If so, the role of Counsellor 3 (Team Lead – Transportation and Access) could be the perfect opportunity for you. As a team leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective and ongoing delivery of transportation and access services, encompassing vital tasks such as access planning, matching, monitoring, and scheduling. In this position, you will have the chance to inspire and lead a dedicated team, fostering connections and driving positive change in the lives of youth and children. Primary Accountabilities
- Consult with team members and fellow Supervisors to provide guidance and support.
- Monitorteam performance and actively engage in coaching and performance development to ensure success and client service excellence.
- Contributeto the development and review of case plans as well as monitor the progress of case plans to ensure their effectiveness.
- Establish and promote strong relationships with team members, Supervisors, clients, families, and departmental staff to enhance service delivery.
- Assist Regional Service Delivery Managers in developing procedures and activities to maintain program consistency.
- Ensure the well-being of access services. Qualifications and Experience You have completed a Child & Youth Care Worker diploma from a provincially approved post-secondary institution, along with three (3) years of related experience. You must have in-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, guidelines, occupational health and safety practices, and crisis intervention techniques. You must also demonstrate:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs The ability to lead, motivate, and ensure a strong, collaborative, team working environment. Communication skills, written and verbal. Sound judgment and strong initiative. The following are considered desirable assets including:
- Supervisoryexperience
- Experience with case management systems and working within an adjusted work hour environment
- Expeirence with child welfare, early childhood development, crisis services, and supporting persons with disabilities/ addictions. Travel is required for this position, as such you must have a valid driver’s licence ability to travel to various locations as required. Additional Information This is a Term opportunity with an anticipated end date of July 14, 2028.
