About the Dental Assistant/Receptionist Role

You will be responsible for all general assistant and reception duties, including, but not limited to – Appointment making, payments including health funds claims, Medicare and Work Cover claims, email, and phone inquiries, following up on outstanding treatment and treatment plans, patient recalls and active maintenance appointments. You are the friendly and comfortable smile that greets and welcomes all patients into the practice. Chairside assistance will be required with training. The ideal candidate will have the following attributes: Minimum 2 years of dental experience with Japanese and Chinese speaking beneficial but not essential with previous management skills Excellent people and communication skills; with a caring and empathetic personality Excellent computer skills Able to work in a team and attention to detail To be the highly motivated, professional, confident, and friendly attitude Willing to follow instructions and show initiative to learn new skills.
