Bakers Delight Wynyard Full Time Baker Required Sydney

Bakers Delight Wynyard seeks to employ a full-time Qualified Baker (or equivalent experience) to execute and run the daily production schedule. This role is Monday to Friday only with no weekends or public holidays.

As a Qualified Baker, you are expected to undertake the following tasks:

Prepare and bake breads, pastries and signature products in line with brand recipes

Be capable of managing dough mixing from scratch, shaping and oven work

Ensure quality and presentation of all baked products are of the highest standards, including merchandising

Supervise and train Bakers, Junior Bakers, Apprentice Bakers and Bakers Assistants

Oversee and maintain a safe and clean work setting

Maintain knowledge of recent products, equipment and baking procedures

Assist the Production Manager to develop and maintain production sheets and dough schedules, and implement them in the bakery operations

Monitor and control the speed of production for timely preparation and quantity required

Participate and compete in internal Bakers Delight baking competitions

Participate in baking workshops and forums when required

Key skills and attributes required for this role are:

Certificate III in Retail Baking (Bread), or 3 years apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in the industry

Leadership, communication skills and ability to mentor juniors

Working knowledge in food handling, hygiene, sanitation and WHS
