Overview Lead Business Consultant – Accounting & Operations, APAC.Position can be offered at Lead or Principal level based on experience and skill set. Responsibilities
- Independently manage one or more business‑related workstreams in SimCorp Dimension implementation projects, identifying required tasks, dependencies, and time/resource estimates and providing status updates to the Project Manager.
- Act as project leader for small and mid‑size SimCorp Dimension projects.
- Facilitate requirements gathering workshops and trainings at client sites, gathering business requirements and mapping them to SimCorp Dimension functions and processes, identifying improvements and efficiencies.
- Document client requirements and produce configuration and end‑user training deliverables to enable client self‑sufficiency.
- Maintain key contact for client questions related to SimCorp Dimension implementation.
- Mentor less experienced consultants on day‑to‑day tasks and project best practices.
- Identify and propose tailored services beyond the project scope as a trusted advisor.
- Contribute to improving implementation best practices and share knowledge across projects. Qualifications
- Degree or master’s in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
- Experience and knowledge of accounting standards and regulations (e.g., IFRS9, US GAAP, tax).
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Several years supporting SimCorp Dimension solutions across Investment/Financial Accounting, Fund Accounting, General Ledger Accounting, and Reconciliations.
- Proven experience in configuring and implementing financial software, preferably SimCorp Dimension.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
- Result‑driven, creative, analytical with a global perspective.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Flexible for travel within APAC. Benefits
