Medical Receptionist/Administrator (Sydney)

Your role HealthBright are now seeking a passionate medical receptionist/administrator to join our expanding remote team in a part time (2-3 days, 9.00am-5.00pm) work from home role. Reporting to our Head of Operations, this position will work across our brands, supporting our teams wherever needed. As our business continues to grow there may opportunities for role development, increased responsibilities and growth. We are looking for a friendly team member who loves what they do, is very tech-savvy and effective working autonomously/remotely. This role can be based anywhere across Australia, however you would need to be comfortable aligning to AEST. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Scheduling and coordinating appointments
- Handling client phone and email enquiries
- Communicating with clients, providers, referrers, and allied health professionals
- Performing administrative tasks such as formatting and electronically sending correspondence, including medical reports
- Assisting our Head of Operations and support team with daily and weekly operational tasks About you: To be the right fit for our role you will need:
- Previous experience in a high volume reception or customer facing administrative role (medical preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including a professional phone demeanour
- Strong organisational and time management ability
- High level attention to detail and data entry
- Comfortable with computers and new technologies, including troubleshooting for clients – experience with Practice Management Systems would be an advantage
- Initiative and the ability to work independently
- Experience handling confidential information appropriately
- Rapid and reliable internet and a secure, quiet home office to make regular confidential phone calls
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with ability to switch between brands, processes and needs as required
