- Cecil Hills High School (0000BA7I) Location: Sydney Region Job ID: 0000BA7I Position: 1 Teacher Engineering Studies / Industrial Technology Remuneration: Up to $156,253.00. Base salary ranges from $90,177.00 to $137,861.00, plus leave loading and employer’s contribution to superannuation. Contact: (School Admin: ) Responsibilities Inspire the next generation of TAS students through hands‑on, future‑focused learning. Support the development and delivery of Engineering Studies and Industrial Technology curricula, collaborating with experienced teachers to mentor and grow in qualified practice. Foster a learning environment that encourages creativity, problem‑solving and real‑world application of concepts. Qualifications
- Approval to teach Engineering Studies and Industrial Technology, or preparedness to retrain via further study or on‑the‑job experience supported by the NSW Department of Education.
- Demonstrated capacity to effectively deliver differentiated learning experiences in the classroom to inspire diverse learners.
- Proven ability to manage practical workspaces to ensure student safety, full participation and high levels of engagement in lessons.
- Well‑developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively to contribute to faculty and whole‑school programs. Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
