The product development engineer is responsible for delivery of the Visionaire and Coriograph Patient Matched Technology service to APAC customers. This role includes individual product design, managing the consulting process with customers, and ensuring product quality. It also manages internal and external customers within assigned regions, building and maintaining relationships with critical business partners to promote the service and enable market growth. Responsibilities
- Responsible for the delivery of the Visionaire & Coriograph Technology service in accordance with quality standards and timelines, consulting with customers throughout the process.
- Ensure smooth data transfer and proper internal process flow through communication within the international pre-op services team (US, EU) and the production site.
- Collaborate with the global pre-op services team to support development and delivery of patient matched technology to customers.
- Develop relationships with Visionaire surgeons to understand surgical preferences and optimise outcomes.
- Support marketing activities, enable market entries, and present to interdisciplinary and highly educated audiences.
- Provide productivity reporting to ensure case planning targets are achieved and coordinate backup as required.
- Troubleshoot common error codes in software used for surgical planning and case management.
- Work closely with the Engineering manager, other managers, and Engineering team on updates to Work Instructions, case planning processes, and training delivery. Qualifications
- Ability to communicate in Japanese (essential).
- Bachelor's degree in Biomechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, or a related engineering field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a comparable industry.
- Availability to travel 5–10% of the time. Advantages
