My client is a tier 1 business in their industry
- a newly created chance has come available to join as an experienced Accounts Payable Manager, looking after a small team, reporting and continuous improvement.

You will be joining a scaling business, cooperative & hard working workplace.

You will be leading the Accounts Payable & Receivable function nationally, to ensure timely & accurate payments to suppliers. You will have the responsibility of managing and developing the team, improving processes / procedures to drive efficiency and best practice.

Location: CBD | hybrid working

REM: $130,000 plus super upwards (experience dependant)

Key Accountabilities:

Lead the establishment and implementation of policies, processes and systems, and identify areas for improvement

Document, manage and improve best practice policies

Ensure appropriate payment approvals have been obtained in line with DOA

Monitoring aging reports to track outstanding receivables and taking actions to minimise overdue payments

Provide recommendations and relevant information to management to enable informed decisions about suppliers, payments and cash flow

Job requirements:

5+ years working experience in a similar role

Experience in people management (off-shore would be beneficial)

Jobpac or CHEOPS experience (beneficial)

Proactive & positive attitude

Excellent communication (written & verbal)
