ORIX Australia is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team. About The Role

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring invoices are issued accurately and on time, and outstanding payments are actively managed in line with KPIs. You’ll play a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships while supporting the efficiency and integrity of our AR function.

What You’ll Be Doing

Prepare and issue accurate invoices (paper and electronic), including uploads through customer portals

Manage daily invoicing processes using internal systems

Take ownership of assigned customer accounts, ensuring outstanding items are followed up and resolved within set timeframes

Process daily banking, allocate payments, and reconcile accounts

Prepare credit notes and process manual adjustments where required

Respond promptly to customer queries and maintain accurate account records

Maintain documentation in line with AR procedures and compliance requirements

Support the broader AR team and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Build strong, professional relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

What You’ll Bring

Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or similar role, ideally within a high-volume or shared services environment

Robust systems experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation

Robust communication skills with a professional and confident phone manner

Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

Solid problem-solving and analytical skills

A customer-focused mindset with the ability to manage and resolve queries effectively

Robust interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach
