About the Role

As our Assistant Store Manager, your role involves supporting the store operations and team of our Lindt Chocolate Shop which retails a large range of Lindt Chocolate including take‐away chocolate drinks, coffee and ice cream. You will support the Store Manager in guiding and mentoring our Chocolate Ambassadors by:

Supporting an energetic team to create meaningful relationships with customers by providing a unique chocolate experience and achieving sales goals

Delegating, coaching and leading employees on their daily operations, service and collaboration

Assisting with roster and budget management

Leading from the front with passion and expertise with customers on product knowledge and preparation

Ordering and receiving deliveries and overall inventory management

Deploy visual merchandising strategies and promotional changes

Assisting in developing and leading the team to future successes

What we would like you to bring

Demonstrated previous customer service experience in a QSR, retail or hospitality workplace where you have managed your tasks with transparent communication, enthusiasm and passion

Previous Barista experience desirable

An ability to grow your local community and drive return sales and loyalty

Strong time management skills, ability to work effectively and independently with deadlines.

Solid rapport building abilities to assist to lead and coach a team of Chocolate Ambassadors
