National Logistics Manager (Sydney)

About the Role Senior leadership role responsible for overseeing warehousing, distribution, transport, and inventory operations across a national network. Based in Sydney, you will lead the local logistics function while also providing operational oversight and support to multiple interstate sites. This position is ideal for a hands‐on operational leader who enjoys driving performance, building high‐performing teams, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives across complex supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities Lead national warehousing, dispatch, receiving, distribution, and inventory operations; Drive operational performance across DIFOT, inventory accuracy, productivity, and cost control; Manage and develop warehouse and logistics leadership teams across multiple locations; Oversee transport coordination, freight performance, and third‐party carrier relationships; Identify and implement process improvements across systems, reporting, and operational procedures; Ensure strong compliance with WHS, operational, and quality standards; Work closely with manufacturing, customer service, procurement, finance, and sales teams to improve operational outcomes; Travel interstate as required to support operational consistency and site performance. Requirements Significant experience within warehousing, logistics, and distribution leadership roles; Proven background managing multi‐site operations within manufacturing, industrial, or fast‐paced operational environments; Strong knowledge of transport, dispatch, inventory control, and warehouse management; Experience driving operational improvement and process standardisation; Solid commercial acumen and understanding of freight and warehousing cost drivers; Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills; Strong ERP and warehouse systems experience.
