Mid-Senior Interior Designer | Hospitality (Sydney)

Our client is a highly regarded architecture and interiors studio delivering design-led hospitality, commercial, residential and adaptive re-use projects. The studio has built a strong reputation across the hospitality sector, with work spanning pubs, restaurants, bars and destination venues. Based in Surry Hills, this is an opportunity for a talented mid-senior Interior Designer to join a collaborative and design-focused team working on exciting hospitality projects from concept through to delivery. The Role

You’ll work across a range of hospitality projects with a particular focus on pubs, bars and restaurants, contributing across concept design, design development, documentation and client coordination. This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident working autonomously while collaborating closely with senior designers and project leads. The position would suit someone who enjoys creating strong spatial experiences and understands the operational and commercial realities of hospitality environments. Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative and practical interior design solutions across hospitality projects
- Work across all project phases from concept through to construction documentation
- Produce high-quality presentations, mood boards, finishes schedules and design packages
- Prepare detailed documentation in Revit
- Coordinate with consultants, suppliers and project stakeholders
- Attend client meetings and assist with design presentations
- Contribute to material selection, FF&E; specification and detailing
- Support project delivery to programme and budget requirements Skills & Experience
- 4–8 years’ experience in interior design
- Strong hospitality project experience, particularly pubs, bars and restaurants
- Proficiency in Revit is essential
- Strong design sensibility with excellent presentation skills
- Experience producing detailed documentation packages
- Good understanding of local construction methods and hospitality compliance requirements
- Ability to manage workload independently and communicate effectively within a team
- Tertiary qualification in Interior Design or Interior Architecture Perks
