Positions Available We are currently seeking experienced and professional Commercial and/or Corporate Security Rovers and Controllers to join our team and support a range of high-profile client sites located within the Sydney CBD. These roles are suited to individuals who demonstrate strong professionalism, reliability, and the ability to operate effectively in corporate environments where security, safety, and customer service are of the highest priority. To be successful in these positions, candidates must possess strong computer literacy, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a high level of customer service capability. Applicants should also be comfortable working both independently and within a team environment and must be able to follow Site Standing Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies with accuracy and diligence. A proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to respond appropriately in dynamic situations are essential. Role Description The key responsibilities associated with these roles may vary depending on the specific position (Rover or Controller). However, the principal duties may include:
- Monitoring and managing access control systems to ensure authorised entry and maintain site security.
- Operating CCTV and associated security equipment to monitor activity and provide effective surveillance across the premises.
- Conducting regular foot patrols of the site to identify and respond to potential safety or security risks.
- Greeting and assisting visitors, staff, and contractors, ensuring a professional and welcoming presence at all times.
- Providing high-quality customer service and support, acting as a point of contact for site occupants and visitors.
- Maintaining accurate records and reports relating to incidents, patrols, and operational activities.
- Demonstrating reliability and long-term commitment to assigned sites, contributing to consistent service delivery.
- Adhering to Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S;) standards and promoting a safe working environment for all personnel. Requirements To be considered for these positions, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- A minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in the security role being applied for (e.g., Rover or Controller), preferably within a commercial or corporate environment.
- A current NSW 1AC Security Licence, in accordance with state regulatory requirements.
- Availability to work rotating shifts, including day and night shifts across a seven-day roster, as operational requirements demand.
- A valid First Aid Certificate, with the ability to respond effectively to workplace emergencies if required.
