- $173,17 chance based in Mascot NSW About the Role As the Principal Project Officer you will join the Aboriginal Affairs group, Truth & Healing branch within the Healing Partnerships team. This role plays a key part in progressing Healing and Unfinished Business priorities, working in partnership with Aboriginal Stolen Generation survivors an organisations, and a broad range of stakeholders. You will lead the delivery of complex, high-impact projects that support healing initiatives across NSW, while navigating a dynamic whole-of-government environment. You will be responsible for the Stolen Generations Keeping Places Project, supporting dialogue between survivors and landowners to establish four keeping places and living museums at former Aboriginal Children’s Home sites in line with Unfinished Business recommendations. The four sites include Keller House (North Parramatta, Bomaderry Children’s Home, Cootamundra Girls Home and Kinchela Boys Home. You will also lead The Missing Children Project which responds to the request made by Stolen Generations Survivors to progress respectful investigations into unfinished sorry business across the former homes of the Aborigines Welfare Board (AWB).
