Estimator - Residential/Commercial (Sydney)

We’re partnering with a well-established Sydney-based builder known for delivering high-quality projects across luxury homes, multi-residential developments, and commercial builds. The Role As an Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre-construction phase, working closely with the project delivery team to prepare accurate and competitive tenders. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for residential and commercial projects
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Conducting take-offs and preparing BOQs
- Managing subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Identifying cost risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving strategies
- Assisting with tender submissions and negotiations
- Liaising with project managers, clients, and consultants About You
- Proven experience as an Estimator within the Australian construction industry
- Strong knowledge of both residential and commercial projects
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience with estimating software (e.g. CostX, Cubit, or similar)
- Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar What’s On Offer
