Service Technician (Electrical) (City of Sydney)

Electrical Service Technician As an Electrical Service Technician based at our state‑of‑the‑art automated picking solutions site in Moorebank, Sydney, you will support the reliability and performance of a highly advanced Automated Material Handling System. Working on a rotating 24/7 roster, you’ll be part of a collaborative, fast‑growing technical team maintaining cutting‑edge automation technology in a permanent, full‑time role. Responsibilities
- Maintain, modify, and repair electrical, instrumentation, control, and mechanical systems across the site
- Respond promptly to service requests and reactive calls to minimise downtime and maintain productivity
- Act as a key technical contact during incidents, supporting internal and external stakeholders
- Anticipate faults and proactively address issues before they escalate
- Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance, incident, and system performance records
- Follow and promote all health, safety, and compliance requirements, including PPE and LOTO procedures
- Contribute to a team-oriented team environment focused on continuous improvement and high service quality Qualifications
- A‑Grade Electrical Licence (mandatory)
- Experience performing service and maintenance activities in industrial or automated environments
- Familiarity with PLC control systems and industrial networks (desirable)
- Previous experience with automated material handling systems or ASRS is highly regarded
- A methodical, structured approach to troubleshooting and workflow execution
- Flexibility and willingness to work rotating 12‑hour day and night shifts Benefits
