Strategic Management Accountant — Hybrid + Immediate Start …, City of Sydney

We’re partnering with a global leading Australian organisation based in Macquarie Park that is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their high-performing finance team on an immediate start basis. This is a fantastic chance for someone who enjoys a mix of reporting, analysis and business partnering, while working within a fast-paced and commercially driven environment.

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering financial insights, supporting operational decision-making and helping drive business performance across multiple areas of the organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Prepare monthly management reports including analysis and commentary on financial performance
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
- Deliver accurate month-end reporting, reconciliations and variance analysis
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions
- Partner with operational and senior stakeholders across the business
- Support the preparation of board and executive reporting packs
- Assist with process improvements and identify opportunities to enhance reporting and efficiencies
- Contribute to ongoing financial projects and business initiatives About You

You’ll be someone who enjoys working in a collaborative and commercially focused environment and can confidently communicate financial information to stakeholders across different levels of the business. You will ideally bring:

- 3–6 years’ experience within Management Accounting, Commercial Finance or a similar role
- CA/CPA qualified or currently working towards completion
- Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills
- Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- A proactive approach and ability to work within a fast-paced environment What’s On Offer
