As a Senior Support Worker in our Penrith Day Program , I will:
- Support the day-to-day running of programs and activities focused on Life Skills, Work and Study, Skills for Life, and Recreation.
- Work alongside the Coordinator to help the team succeed, stepping up when needed.
- Facilitate group activities such as art, drama, music, and gardening to engage and inspire customers.
- Assist with administration tasks , including WHS audits (fire drills, site safety inspections) to ensure a safe environment.
- Help plan and review customer programs , providing guidance to other support workers and ensuring that the programs meet customer needs.
- Assist with rostering in Niara, and help cover duties when the Coordinator is absent.
- Be available from 8 am to 4 pm , ensuring consistent support throughout the day. I take initiative and thrive when I can work both independently and as part of a team.
