Commercial Banking Assistant I (Sydney) (City of Sydney)

Overview The Position involves collaborating with BDOs, corporate staff, portfolio managers, and other cross‑functional teams to facilitate the loan process and provide support for commercial credit operations. This role also manages customer onboarding and maintains positive client relationships. Responsibilities
- Work closely with BDOs, corporate staff, portfolio managers, and CRMs/RMs.
- Facilitate recent and renewed loan production for relationships under $1 million in total exposure.
- Forward correspondence to attorneys and title companies regarding pending and closing loans.
- Collaborate with the commercial credit department to provide information on behalf of BDOs and CRMs and load predominantly small business credits for approval.
- Focus on overall onboarding of bank relationships for customers, including deposit and loan relationships while maintaining positive and skilled customer relationships.
- Serve as a liaison for administrative tasks related to commercial relationships.
- Complete required training within expected timeframes.

- Banking experience preferred.
- Understanding of relationship management.
- Self‑starter with minimal management oversight.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to make presentations.
- Robust organizational and time‑management skills.
- Proficiency with computer technology and all software applications utilized by the FCB CBO.
- Ability to travel as needed, including occasional overnight travel. Salary: $*****
