Experienced AI Developer – Healthcare AI & Electronic Health Record Platform Location: Sydney / Hybrid / Remote considered Engagement: Contract, part-time, or project-based opportunity Industry: HealthTech | Aged Care | Artificial Intelligence | Electronic Health Records We are seeking an experienced AI Developer to support the development of an advanced healthcare technology platform focused on Electronic Health Records, clinical intelligence, automation, and AI-powered decision support. This role is suited to a highly capable developer who understands applied AI, machine learning, data architecture, and real-world software delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with the founder, clinical stakeholders, and the development team to design and implement intelligent systems that improve clinical documentation, operational efficiency, risk detection, and care quality in aged care and healthcare environments. About the Project The project is a next-generation Electronic Health Record platform designed for aged care and healthcare providers. The platform aims to bring together clinical documentation, resident management, intelligent reporting, workflow automation, and AI-driven insights into one secure and scalable system. The long‑term vision is to build healthcare AI capabilities that can assist clinicians with documentation, identify clinical risks, generate intelligent summaries, support audits, and provide meaningful insights from healthcare data. Key Responsibilities
- Develop AI-powered clinical documentation and summarisation tools
- Build intelligent agents for clinical workflow support, audit, and reporting
- Design machine learning and natural language processing pipelines
- Work with structured and unstructured healthcare data
- Support AI integration into the Electronic Health Record system
- Develop backend AI services and APIs for production use
- Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers to implement AI features
- Assist with data modelling, automation logic, and clinical decision‑support workflows
- Support safe, explainable, and reliable AI design in a healthcare context
- Contribute to scalable architecture, security, and compliance‑aware development Ideal Experience
- Artificial intelligence, machine learning, and applied NLP
