Responsibilities As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you are often the first point of contact for prospective clients. Your key responsibilities include generating current business, sourcing, developing, and qualifying opportunities through strategic, targeted outreach while partnering with our Sales and Marketing team. Metrics of success are measured on a monthly quota of qualified sourced opportunities and team‑closed business.

- Work with partners across a breadth of government and public service sectors
- Qualify leads, contacts, and accounts to understand use cases and opportunities
- Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow‑up
- Partner closely with Public Sector Account Executives to move qualified pipeline through the sales cycle
- Build a point of view on how to help qualify customer needs
- Speak to value and return on investment versus technical functionality
- Establish credibility and trust with internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility as part of an ever‑growing sales organization
- Achieve monthly quota related to opportunities generated Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage clearly

- Experience prospecting and cold calling (highly regarded)
