The Role We're seeking a hands‑on Group Finance Manager to drive financial control, reporting, planning & analysis, investment and other financial support in our growing group, on a full‑time permanent basis. Reporting to the CFO and overseeing a bookkeeper, this role offers growth in a fast‑paced environment. Ideal for an ambitious emerging Finance Manager or experienced Senior Company Accountant. Key Responsibilities
- Financial Control: AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, journals, tax compliance (BAS, PAYG, FBT, STP), audits, treasury (cash flow forecast, FX), R&D; grants, risk management and internal controls.
- Consolidation & Reporting: Handle group consolidation, management reports, presentations, and ASX communications (4C, half‑yearly/annual accounts).
- Management Accounting & FP&A;: Produce forecasts, budgets, variance analysis, KPIs (ROI, IRR, NPV), and business partnering across departments.
- Capital Raise, M&A; & Investments: Support due diligence, investment valuations, portfolio analysis, and capital raise campaigns.
- Systems & Projects: Maintain/improve systems, ensure data integrity, and lead implementations.
- Administration & Legal: Assist with registrations (ASIC and others), insurance, contracts, HR admin, and process improvements. Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years in a senior Accountant role or 1-2 years as Finance Manager.
- Expertise in financial accounting, audit, consolidation and compliance (AASB, IFRS).
- Strong analytical skills with advanced systems, Excel and BI tools.
- Experience in fast‑paced, multi‑entity environments (ASX‑listed desirable).
- Leadership, fluent communication, nimbleness and problem‑solving abilities.
- Up to $130k per annum base & 25 days annual leave.
