Parking Compliance Officer (City of Sydney)

We deliver 28 key services such as childcare, waste collection, parks maintenance, libraries, community facilities and aquatic centres to over 380,000 residents. The role We are looking for a community focused Parking Compliance Officer to join CBCity. This role will be primarily based at the Civic Tower in Bankstown, with duties carried out across the local area as required. You will be in a customer facing position ensuring the safety of the community by detecting and reporting any vehicles that are not abiding by parking and related regulations. You will be responsible for patrolling and surveillance of public streets, car parks, investigate and act on regulation breaches. Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Enforce parking regulations through patrols and surveillance.
- Educate the community and liaise with stakeholders on compliance.
- Prepare and present court briefs when needed.
- Maintain databases and monitor signage for required updates.

- Current Class C Drivers Licence.
- Able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment and collaboratively in a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication, including accurate report writing.
- Proven record‑keeping skills and ability to interpret relevant legislation.
- Experienced in preparing and presenting evidence in court.
- Customer‑focused with strong problem‑solving, negotiation, and discretion The salary range for this opportunity starts at $71,820 (Grade D, Step 1) + 12% super.
