Inventory Controller: SAP & Stocktake Lead (City of Sydney)

Inventory Controller Date Posted: 13 May 2026 Primo Foods are seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to join our Chullora manufacturing site and play a critical role in ensuring inventory accuracy, SAP discipline and effective stocktake execution in a fast ‑ paced FMCG environment. Reporting to site Operations, this role is the single point of accountability for inventory integrity, ensuring alignment between physical stock, SAP data and financial outcomes. You will work closely with production, finance and IT support teams, with a strong hands ‑ on presence on the ShopFloor. Key Responsibilities
- Own end ‑ to ‑ end inventory integrity across raw materials, packaging, WIP and finished goods
- Conduct daily review of inventory movements and SAP transactions, identifying and resolving discrepancies early
- Lead the planning, coordination and execution of all site stocktakes and cycle counts
- Own stocktake reconciliation, variance analysis and root cause investigation
- Act as the site subject ‑ matter expert for inventory ‑ related SAP transactions and shopfloor execution
- Coach supervisors and operators to build solid inventory discipline and correct SAP usage
- Partner with IT Support where system performance or access issues contribute to errors
- Provide clear and accurate inventory and stocktake reporting to Operations and Finance
- Continuously review processes to identify opportunities to improve inventory control and data accuracy What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years experience in inventory control within a manufacturing or FMCG environment
- Demonstrated experience leading stocktakes and managing inventory variances
- Strong working knowledge of SAP inventory processes
- Confidence working on the shopfloor and influencing operational teams without direct authority
- Strong analytical, problem ‑ solving and decision ‑ making skills
