We seek an experienced Land Surveyor to join our team and help cover the Sydney metropolitan area. For candidates approaching registration, JRK Surveys will provide structured support toward BOSSI registration, including access to a supervising registered surveyor, paid study/assessment support, CPD support, exposure to cadastral projects, and employer contribution toward relevant registration costs. You would work within a highly capable, collaborative team across a growing pipeline of residential and commercial property development projects. The role includes both field work and office work with our surveyors given appropriate professional autonomy and taking ownership of projects from start to finish. Our work largely focuses on residential properties rather than major infrastructure projects, so you enjoy a balanced workload and a predictable working rhythm with sensible project deadlines, no construction site pressure, no dusty civil/infrastructure sites, and no weekend work. For the right person, this role can develop into a leadership position within JRK surveys or its parent company, Pacific Infrastructure Group. Responsibilities
- Subdivision surveys and preparation and lodgement of plans
- Detail and contour surveys for high-end architects and designers
- Construction set out for residential and commercial developments
- Preparation and checking of survey plans and documentation
- Direct communication with clients, architects, and builders
- Managing survey tasks and timelines for projects Qualifications We are looking for an experienced surveyor who enjoys cadastral work and residential property development projects. You will be comfortable working both in the field and in the office and will enjoy working closely with clients and consultants. The ideal candidate will have:
- A surveying degree recognised in NSW
- Either registration as a Registered Land Surveyor, or working toward registration
- Experience in cadastral and land development surveying
- Experience with modern survey equipment and software
